Aid Stations

Please see course information below for all aid station locations.

Due to the many land entities involved in this race, we are not allowing racers to have their own crews at aid stations.  Our goal is to have the least amount of impact as possible, and not crowd the limited space available to all racers.

All aid stations will be self-serve with some caveats:

    • Food will be in individual servings – please only touch what you intend to take.
    • Water/Electrolytes will be in 5 gallon jugs.
    • There will be hand sanitizer – use it when you get to the station, use it when you leave.
    • Remember to thank your volunteers!

At Each Station

  • Water
  • Electrolytes
  • Salty snacks
  • Sweet snacks
  • Fruit
  • Some bubbly
  • Basic first aid
  • Basic mechanic items (be prepared to do your own fixing with the tools/supplies provided)
    • Tire pump
    • Chain lube
    • Wrench set

Race Rules & Etiquette

You are required to follow all Wyoming State Laws – traffic will not be stopped or altered for this race.

  • All racers must wear a helmet
  • Obey all traffic lights and stop signs.  Do not assume traffic will yield to you.
  • Ride as far to the right side of the road as possible – do NOT ride against traffic.
  • Avoid riding more than two abreast.
  • Be conscious of and allow for vehicles to pass on your left.
  • Avoid weaving – ride in a safe and predictable manner.
  • Always look ahead and behind before merging or turning left or right.
  • Don’t be an a-hole – be respectful to all other riders, volunteers, and spectators

COVID-19 Response

Based on current conditions in and around Cody, we are confident that this third year race will be possible for our September 3rd date with similar precautions from previous years.  For the safety of racers, volunteers, and spectators we will be implementing the following:

  • Encouraging face masks for all spectators, volunteers, and participants who aren’t vaccinated
  • Supplying hand sanitizer throughout the race start/finish, as well as at every aid station
  • Clean aid stations with volunteers using a “no-touch” method of providing food and drink as needed
  • Cleaning supplies on hand for every aid station and table for periodic and thorough sanitizing
